It is much easier to Trade Your Car when you purchase a new one, but you may be able to get more Money by Selling Your Own Car.
Used Car For Sale; Tips To Sell Your Car Instead Of Trade
First and foremost is to make your Used Car For Sale look good. Take it to a professional detail person and spend $75 to $100 to make it look Great, or spend a day and do it yourself. Make sure to clean the engine, underneath, door jams, etc.
Used Car For Sale tip 2 would be to make sure you change the oil and all fluids. Flush the radiator and put new antifreeze. Make sure brake fluid is clean. You may even want to change the transmission fluid.
Used Car For Sale tip 3 is to make sure your brakes and tires are in good shape. This is something everyone will check. If your tires are worn, spend $300-$400 and put new rubber all the way around. If your brakes squeak or do not stop correctly, put new pads on and turn the rotors. Rotors are usually visible through the wheels and look better if they are nice and shiny.
Used Car For Sale tip 4 is to make sure there are no lights on your dash. When I say lights, I mean Check Engine, Service Engine, Change Oil, etc. I guess I should say lights on your gauges. This is a direct turnoff for a Used Car For Sale.
Used Car For Sale tip 5 is to park your Used Car in a high traffic area to be seen. This is probably one of the most important of all tips. The more people see your Car For Sale, the better your chance of selling your car.
Used Car For Sale tip 6 is to price your car where it will sell. Take it by your local dealer and ask the Used Car Manager for pricing advice. Most will be more than happy to help, Especially if it is the dealership you intend to purchase from once you Sell Your Car.
Used Car For Sale tip 7 would be to make sure you put a phone # that you can be reached. I know this sounds crazy, but many people put a home # when they are never home. Put your cell # so you can be reached any time.
Used Car For Sale tip 8 is to have a car fax ran on your car along with all service records and any of the tuneup records you just performed on your Car. These records and history of a Used Car will go a long way in getting top dollar.
Used Car For Sale tip 9 would be to price your car where you have some negotiating room as everyone loves to dicker. Everyone wants to think they got a deal. Price your Car 10% more than you are willing to take for the Car. If you want $5000, price it at $5500. If you want $10,000, price it at $11,000. You get the idea. A more expensive Used Car will merit a larger discount.
These are just a few tips to help you get top dollar for selling your Used Car instead of trading. You may have to spend a little money to make it more attractive, but the return may be worth it. It also depends on how fast you will be ready for your New Car. If you are in a hurry, it may be easier to trade. Try Selling Your Car 2 to 3 months before you are planning on Buying A Car. This will give you time to see if Selling Your Car is going to be an option that will work. You might find yourself Buying A Car quicker than you thought. Good Luck and Leave me a Comment if you have more tips or if any of these tips helped you Sell Your Car.

Most medical professionals agree that children should not need to take vitamins if they eat a proper diet. But many children are picky eaters and many parents worry that their children are not getting enough vitamins.
If children are eating enough that they are growing properly, it isn’t as important that they get a variety of nutrients, and the related vitamins, in each meal. While a balanced diet is ideal for providing all necessary vitamins, most pediatricians say that as long as a child gets an adequate variety of foods within a one-week period, they are probably getting the vitamins they need.
However there are cases where supplementing vitamins may be necessary for children. Children who are on vegetarian diets, who don’t eat dairy products, or who don’t drink milk may need supplemental vitamins. Children who are housebound and do not get any exposure to the sun may need supplemental D vitamins. Infant formula usually contains all necessary vitamins, but for infants who are breastfeeding, pediatricians may recommend drops of vitamins that contain vitamins A, C and D, and newborns are usually given Vitamin K in their first week of life until their intestinal tracts develop the ability to produce it.
Don’t assume that a multivitamin is the solution to your child’s need for vitamins. Many multivitamins do not contain the recommended daily allowance of every vitamin. Check the label to make sure the vitamins you buy contain enough of the vitamins you feel your child isn’t getting from food. Also check the dosage of vitamins by both age and weight; large children may need more vitamins than are standardly recommended for their age.

I recently had a friend that had purchased quite a few used classic car parts
for his 32 ford.? Let’s just say that if everything would have gone as
planned, I would not be writing this article.? I’ll explain a bit.? He
received his parts and noticed that some of the parts had been aftermarket parts
- hey no problem right? – wrong.
Depending on the quality and restoration that you want to do, you will have
to decide between used classic car parts, new classic car parts and aftermarket
classic car parts.
The field seems to be split right down the center.? Many guys are
willing to do the extra part preparation on used classic car parts just for the
fact that it is just that – an original classic car part.? Many guys get
caught up in wanting the perfect show car for the least amount of time invested.?
This leads them to new classic car parts or aftermarket car parts.
Not all aftermarket car parts are equal.? Something like decals or door
and window rubbers are fine, but when you get into engine and transmission parts
- that’s where there can be a problem.? Many of the engine and transmission
castings have been made with new technology in which closer tolerances have been
used.? This creates a major headache.
Just a reminder, if you want to use this article on your website, simply use
the anchor text ‘used classic car parts’ and link to the following
used
classic car parts.
All in all I still think it’s best to go with used classic car parts and
preserve the history and uniqueness of the classic car – after all it is a
classic.? Another reason to purchase used classic car parts is due to the
fact that used classic car parts are a whole lot cheaper.? Think about it,
would you want to buy 1 good part that needed no modifications and is ready to
bolt on your classic car or buy 5 parts that needed your attention to detail?

Tax Advantages In A Home Business
by: Joe FeatherstonEvery year, several thousand people develop an interest in “going into business.” Many of these people have an idea, a product or a service they hope to promote into an in come producing business which they can operate from their own homes. If you are one of these people, here are some practical thoughts to consider before hanging out the “Open-for-Business” sign.In areas zoned “Residential Only,” your proposed business could be illegal. In many areas, zoning restrictions rule out home businesses involving the coming and going of many customers, clients or employees. Many businesses that sell or even store any thing for sale on the premises also fall into this category.Be sure to check with your local zoning office to see how the ordinances in your particular area may affect your business plans. You may need a special permit to operate your business from your home; and you may find that making small changes in your plan will put you into the position of meeting zoning standards. Many communities grant home occupation permits for businesses that involve typing, sewing and teaching, but turn thumbs down on requests from photographers, interior decorators and home-improve ment businesses to be run from the home. And often, even if you are permitted to use your home for a given business, there will be restrictions that you may need to take into consideration. By all means, work with your zoning people, and save yourself time, trouble and dollars. One of the requirements imposed might be off-street parking for your customers or patrons. And, signs are generally forbidden in residential districts. If you teach, there is almost always a limit on the number of students you may have at any one time.Obtaining zoning approval for your business, then, could be as simple as filling out an application, or it could involve a public hearing. The important points the zoning officials will consider will center around how your business will affect the neighborhood. Will it increase the traffic noticeably on your street? Will there be a substantial in crease in noise? And how will your neighbors feel about this business alongside their homes’to repeat, check into the zoning restrictions, and then check again to determine if you will need a city license. If you’re selling something, you may need a vendor’s license, and be required to collect sales taxes on your transactions. The sales tax requirement would result in the need for careful record keeping.Licensing can be an involved process, and depending upon the type of business, it could even involve the inspection of your home to determine if it meets with local health and building and fire codes. Should this be the case, you will need t o bring your facilities up to the local standards. Usually this will involve some simple repairs or adjustments that you can either do personally, or hire out to a handyman at a nominal cost.Still more items to consider: Will your homeowner’s insurance cover the property and liability involved in your new business? This must definitely be resolved, so be sure to talk it over with your insurance agent.Tax deductions, which were once one of the beauties of engaging in a home business, are not what they once were. To be eligible for business related deductions today, you must use that part of your home claimed exclusively and regularly as either the principal location of your business, or the place reserved to meet patients, clients or customers. An interesting case in point: If you use your den or a spare bedroom as the principal place of business, working there from 8:00 to 5:00 every day, but permit your children to watch TV in that room during the evening hours, the IRS dictates that you cannot claim a deduction for that room as your office or place of business. There are, however, a couple of exceptions we will note to the “exclusive use” rule. One is the storage of inventory in your home, where your home is the location of your trade or business, and approval for your business, then, could be as sour trade or business is the selling of products at retail or wholesale. According to the IRS, such storage space must be used on a regular basis, and be a separately identifiable space.Another exception applies to day care services that are provided for children, the elderly, or physically or mentally handicapped. This exception applies only if the owner of the facility complies with the state laws for licensing. To be eligible for business deductions, your business must be an activity under taken with the intent of making a profit. It’s presumed you meet this requirement if your business makes a profit in any two years of a five-year period.Once you are this far along, you can deduct business expenses such as supplies, subscriptions to professional journals, and an allowance for the business use of your car or truck. You can also claim deductions for home related business expenses such as utilities, and in some cases, even a new paint job for your home. The IRS is going to treat the part of your home you use for business as though it were a separate piece of property. This means that you’ll have to keep good records and take care not to mix business and personal matters. No specific method of record keeping is required, but your records must clearly justify any deductions you claim. You can begin by calculating what percentage of the house is used for business, either by number of rooms or by area in square footage. Thus, if you use one of five rooms for your business, the business portion is 20 percent. If you run you r business out of a room that’s 10 by 12 feet, and the total area of your home is 1,200 square feet, the business-space factor is 10 percent. An extra computation is required if your business is a home day care center. This is one of the exempted activities in which the exclusive use rule doesn’t apply. Check with your tax preparer and the IRS for an exact determination. If you’re a renter, you can deduct the part of your rent which is attributable to the business share of your house or apartment. Homeowners can take a deduction based on the depreciation of the business portion of their house. There is a limit to the amount you can deduct. This is the amount equal to the gross income generated by the business, minus those home expenses you could deduct even if you weren’t operating a business from your home. As an example, real estate taxes and mortgage interest are deductible regardless of any business activity in your home, so you must subtract from your business’ gross income the percentage that’s allocable to the business portion of your home. You thus arrive at the maximum amount for home-related business deductions. If you are self-employed, you claim your business deductions on Schedule C, Profit (or Loss) for Business or Profession. The IRS emphasizes that claiming business-at-home deductions does not automatically trigger an audit of your tax return. Even so, it is always wise to keep meticulously within the proper guidelines, and of course keep detailed records if you claim business related expenses when you are working out of your home. You should discuss this aspect of your operation with your tax preparer or a person qualified in the field of small business tax requirements. If your business earnings aren’t subject to withholding tax, and your estimated federal taxes are $100 or more, you’ll probably be filing a Declaration of Estimated Tax, Form 1040-ES. To complete this form, you will have to estimate your income for the coming year and also make a computation of the income tax and self-employment tax you will owe. The self-employment taxes pay for Social Security coverage. If you have a salaried job covered by Social Security, the self-employment tax applies only to the amount of your home business income that, when added to your salary, reaches the current ceiling. When you file your Form 1040-ES, which is due April 15, you must make the first of four equal installment payments on your estimated tax bill.Another good way to trim your taxes is by setting up a Keogh plan or an Individual Retirement Account. With either of these, you can shelter some of your home business income from taxes by investing it for your retirement.Copyright 2004 Joe FeatherstonYour Resources For Home Base Success,Joe Featherstonwww.homebaseresources.comAbout The Author

What you focus on will expand. What you consistently think about, you will bring into your life. You will attract into your life your most dominant thoughts. This is the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is also called the “Law of Vibration,” and the “Law of Magnetism.”
Many times, you hear people say, “Be positive and don’t be negative.” They think that there may be a small benefit to being positive as opposed to being negative. The truth is, our thoughts are much more powerful than that.
By our own thoughts and actions we bring to ourselves courage or discouragement. Every day we have a choice. Yes, it is a choice. If a person chooses to go around all day thinking depressing thoughts, sighing at everything, criticizing everyone else, complaining, replying to everything in a depressed tone, will the result be a happy, positive successful person? Not in the least!
It is by our own thoughts and corresponding actions that we attract things into our lives. Whether the thoughts you think are good or bad, positive or negative, successful or unsuccessful, victory or failure, you determine your own results every day!
We have free will to choose. That is the way that the Creator designed human beings. We can choose to think whatever we want to think. We can also decide to change our mental attitude, and choose to think differently.
This may take a little effort, because we are all in the habit of thinking certain things. But with consistent effort, we can break those habits and establish new ones.
For example, think of a person who has a habit of complaining. This person, no matter what happens, always finds something to complain about. But, by making a deliberate effort, that person can stop complaining. They can choose to look for and think about the good things that are going on around them. They can choose to be grateful for the things that they do have.
Many people do not realize that what you focus expands. In other words, if you are always complaining, or looking for the things that are wrong, and then thinking about those things, you are literally attracting more of those things into your life.
Our minds were designed to find and attract that which we choose to think about and focus on. Think about it. Do you know people who complain and are negative all the time? What happens to them over and over again? Negative things consistently come their way. They fail. The cycle then repeats over and over again.
On the other hand, what do positive, successful people focus on? They think about and talk about positive and successful things. And in turn, what do they manifest in their lives? They consistently succeed.
Why does the same thing happen over and over, day after day? Because that is the way our minds were designed. The Law of Attraction works for everyone because it is a universal truth. You can call it whatever you want to call it, but it works just as effectively as the Law of Gravity.
As a matter of fact, a verse in the Bible describes it beautifully. This verse has been, and continues to be quoted over and over. (It seems to me that almost every self help book written might be based on this powerful truth.) The book of Proverbs says, “As he thinks in his heart, so is he.”
What you consistently think about, you will bring into your life. You are today a result of the dominant thoughts that you have chosen to think and believe.
The good news is, you can change your world, your environment and your situation. Whatever you desire to change in your life starts with the thoughts you put in your mind.
It is in changing our thoughts that we will change our condition, our situation, and our circumstances. The choice is always yours!
Choose to succeed!

According to The National Association of Insurance Commissioners Buyer’s Guide, “An indexed annuity is a fixed annuity, either immediate or deferred, that earns interest or provides benefits that are linked to an external equity reference or an equity index.
When you buy an indexed annuity you own an insurance contract. You are not buying shares of any stock or index.
An indexed annuity is different from other fixed annuities because of the way it credits interest to your annuity’s value. Indexed annuities credit interest using a formula based on changes in the index to which the annuity is linked. The formula decides how the additional interest, if any, is calculated and credited. How much additional interest you get and when you get it depends on the features of your particular annuity.
Questions you should ask your Agent or the Company
You should ask the following questions about indexed annuities in addition to the questions in the Buyer’s Guide to Fixed Deferred Annuities.
* What is the guaranteed minimum interest rate?
* How long is the term?
* What is the participation rate? For how long is the participation rate guaranteed?
* Is there a minimum participation rate?
* Does my contract have an interest rate cap? What is it?
* Does my contract have an interest rate floor? What is it?
* Is interest rate averaging used? How does it work?
* Is interest compounded during a term?
* Is there a margin, spread, or administrative fee? Is that in addition to or instead of a participation rate?
* What indexing method is used in my contract?
* What are the surrender charges or penalties if I want to end my contract early and take out all of my money?
* Can I get a partial withdrawal without paying charges or losing interest? Does my contract have vesting? If so, what is the rate of vesting?
Final Points to Consider
Remember to read your annuity contract carefully when you receive it. Ask your agent or insurance company to explain anything you don’t understand. If you have a specific complaint or can’t get answers you need from the agent or company, contact your state insurance department.

The oldest (but not wisest) League in the world was founded in 1888, and initially consisted of 12 clubs in the midlands and north of England. The FA cup, which initially embraced both Scottish and southern “non – league” clubs, had already been going since 1872. It was not called the English League as initially it hoped it would grow to include Scottish clubs, but these later (1890) formed their own league instead. A second division was added by absorbing the rival Football Alliance in 1892, and by 1899 it had 36 member clubs. Initially the bottom four clubs had to apply for (re) – election, but this was reduced to three (1895/6), then two (1898/9), before reverting to four (two each for the regional Division 3-s) in 1920/1. Between 1893 and 1898 “test matches” (an early form of play – offs) were used to decide all promotion issues between the two divisions. The league stopped between 1915 and 1919 for the First World War, but resumed in the latter year with 40 clubs. The league was still largely northern – and midlands – based, so in 1920 virtually the entire First Division of the rival southern League was absorbed as the FL-s Third Division.

They say the light is clearer in Cornwall, washed of impurities by the barbed Atlantic winds. Free of pollution, the small village of Mousehole draws artists from all corners of England. Amateurs and professionals alike delight in capturing the character and make-up of this beautiful Cornish community.
I took the B3315 south from Penzance and headed for Mousehole. The road stretched along the coast, a narrow passage of twists and turns and steep inclines. Tall trees lined the steep banks, clinging perilously close to the cliff’s edge.
The high summer sun blazed down from above, glistening on the peaceful ocean. Never was there a more tranquil setting. Across the sea St Michael’s Mount stood defiantly, guarding the bay.
It wasn’t long before I reached Mousehole. As I entered the village the road narrowed further, just wide enough for two lanes. Everywhere seemed a little cramped and confined. Homes were placed almost on top of one another. This was a very intimate place not really suited to traffic. Driving here was making me claustrophobic.
The only way to explore this place was by foot so I parked the car at the first opportunity. Tight cobbled streets led the way to the harbour and panoramic views of Mount’s Bay.
Along the way I passed at least four artists, brushes in hand. One sat in a quiet back street endeavouring to capture the intimacy of a serene Cornish fishing village. He was a young man in his twenties and sat on a wonderfully efficient contraption that included the easel and seat all in one unit. He acknowledged me as I stood behind and gazed enviously at his talent.
I continued towards the harbour and a tiny beach, hoping to catch the young man later to witness his finished masterpiece. A gentle slope led to a small area of golden sand enclosed by the old harbour walls. Boats lay idly around waiting for the passing tide. Children ventured further out to get a taste of the sea.
The seasoned pub overlooking the harbour was at the hub of the community. The low beams and maze of corridors gave a traditional feel to the place. The stair walls were decorated with the photographs of deceased fisherman, drowned in stormy seas in the 1980s. Few can appreciate the courage of these men as they went about their day to day business to earn their livelihoods.
As I drove out of Mousehole the village stayed with me. So quintessentially Cornish, this deep-rooted fishing village has defied the sands of time.
